After graduating with a B.A. in Advertising from the University of Florida and spending more than five years as an English teacher in Latin America, Europe and the United States, Alexa became inspired to learn new languages and work within the communications field supporting education and international development.

As a Rotary Scholar she lived in Italy, studied Italian and while in Rome pursued a Master’s degree in International Policies. Ever since, she has spent time working for various non-profit organizations in the United States and Europe.  Alexa’s work assignments and travel experiences have exposed her to amazing opportunities and talented educators that have paved her professional development.  After all, if it wasn’t for the various scholarships she was awarded, many of these experiences abroad or at home  would not have been made possible.

Discussing her career choices with others, she became overwhelmed by the number of students, coworkers and friends that were not aware of the educational opportunities, scholarships, study programs and internships that were out there.  Therefore, EduGlobalCation was born.

We are an online resource center that promotes educational online programs, international opportunities, scholarships and programs that enhance both personal and professional growth.
